This week our host Lorraine Cink explains the origins of the new “Marvel Rising: Initiation” animated shorts as we prepare for the animated feature film, “Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors”. The animated shorts will introduce the core team including Ghost-Spider, Quake, Patriot, Ms. Marvel, and Squirrel Girl. The voice talent also notably includes Marvel alums Chloe Bennet reprising her role as Quake on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and Dove Cameron as Ghost-Spider. Ms. Marvel is voiced by Kathreen Kavari, Squirrel Girl is voiced Milana Vayntrub, Patriot is originated by Kamil McFadden, and Tippy Toe the squirrel is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker. More fan favorite characters are also promised to be added to roster later on in the animated feature “Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors” coming this fall. America Chavez is voiced by Cierra Ramirez. Inferno is voiced by Tyler Posey. Watch all six “Marvel Rising: Initiation” animated shorts this Monday at 7:30pm on Disney XD and the Marvel HQ YouTube channel.
