While researching the origins of a hidden photograph, Michael Block (LaKeith Stanfield) is fascinated by museum curator, Mae Morton (Issa Rae), and convinces a friend to come with him to visit her on the night of an important exhibit. Though Mae is surprised by his presence, she agrees to go out with him after her friend leaves the event without her.
