Aspiring singer Jack Malik (Himesh Patel) is about to discover he is the only person on Earth who remembers the legendary band, the Beatles. After his release from the hospital following a bus accident, Ellie Appleton (Lily James) gifts him a guitar. Jack plays one of the Beatles’ iconic hits, “Yesterday,” and his friends wonder how he came up with it. Maybe his troubles aren’t that far away…
